Andhra Pradesh, Anakapalli, May 8, 2025: In a heartfelt gesture of solidarity and support, District Additional Superintendent of Police (SP) Sri M. Deva Prasad extended financial assistance to the family of Late Woman Constable Durgabhavani, who tragically passed away while performing her duties at the police station.
A sum of ₹4,00,000/- was handed over as part of the security ex-gratia compensation to Smt. Chandaka Radha, the mother of the late constable. The official program took place at the District Additional SP Office, in the presence of family members and police department personnel.
Speaking on the occasion, Additional SP Sri M. Deva Prasad garu said,
“We will always stand by the families of our brave personnel who sacrifice their lives in the line of duty. Constable Durgabhavani’s commitment and service to the department are unforgettable, and we honor her memory with deep respect.”
The event reflected the department’s commitment to supporting bereaved families and recognizing the sacrifices made by its personnel. Family members of Durgabhavani, along with senior officers, were present to witness the formal handover of the financial aid.
