Hyderabad, Telangana: Sri M. Srinivas, IPS, Additional Commissioner of Police (Crimes), Hyderabad City, conducted a comprehensive Crime Review Meeting, his first after assuming office. The meeting covered the functioning and performance of the Central Crime Station (CCS), Cyber Crimes Wing, and Women Safety Wing, which includes She Teams, seven Women Police Stations, the Clues Team, Fingerprint Unit, and other specialized divisions.
Addressing the officers, the Additional CP emphasized the importance of technology-driven and data-based policing, coupled with fair, firm, and evidence-focused investigations. He stressed the need for meticulous documentation, effective use of forensic and digital tools, and strong prosecution practices to ensure justice delivery.
He further instructed the Cyber Crimes Wing to enhance public awareness through short films and social media reels, particularly focusing on protecting senior citizens from online frauds and investment scams. The Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) and Juvenile Bureau were directed to work closely with Child Welfare Committees to strengthen child rescue and rehabilitation efforts.
The meeting underscored Hyderabad City Police’s commitment to professional excellence, citizen safety, and proactive crime prevention through innovation and coordination.
