North and Middle Andaman: The third session of “Mahila Manch” organized by the North and Middle Andaman District Police took place in Dharmapur village, Billiground, aiming to address the challenges encountered by women in remote areas. Led by Ms. Geetanjali Khandelwal, IPS, SP (D)N&MA, the session fostered meaningful dialogue and assistance for the women of Dharmapur village. Ms. Khandelwal patiently engaged with the attendees, attentively listening to their concerns and offering necessary support. Critical issues such as domestic violence and adolescent upbringing were discussed during the session. Additionally, emphasis was placed on the importance of education for girls, empowering them to shape their own futures and contribute positively to society. SP N&MA stressed self-reliance, urging women to strive for independence and financial autonomy. This message resonated strongly, inspiring the audience to take charge of their financial destinies.
