An advocate Prakash and his security guard Krishna were booked by police allegedly for raping a 43-year-old woman at Nagole on June 29. The victim lodged a complaint at Chaitanyapuri police station on Friday with the help of her relatives after suffering mental agony all the days till she was able to lodge the complaint. According to the police, She sought stringent punishment to the culprits in her complaint. The victim, a resident of Yousufguda, was taken to the house of Prakash the advocate by Krishna on the pretext of giving her a job as maid servant in his house. She was offered a cool drink mixed with sedatives which resulted in her falling unconscious. She was then assaulted and later at midnight they left her near her house. On regaining consciousness, the woman writhed in pain and bled. The police took the duo into custody for questioning.
