Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka: As part of Crime Prevention Month celebrations held in Chikkamagaluru district, the PSI of Aldur Police Station visited Aldur Government PU College today and interacted with students to promote safety awareness.
During the session, students were educated about cybercrimes and safe online practices, the harmful effects of drug abuse, the importance of following traffic rules, and the proper use of the 112 emergency helpline. The initiative aimed to empower students with knowledge to protect themselves and contribute to a safer society.
The awareness programme was well received by the students and reflects the police department’s continued commitment to preventive policing, youth engagement, and community safety.
