Uttarakhand, Almora: This morning, near Crocodile Point in the Salt area, a road accident occurred when a bike skidded, injuring Amit Rawat, a resident of Kasar Dhumakot. Constable Amarendra Singh of Salt Police Station, who was on duty nearby, immediately reached the spot upon noticing the incident.
The injured youth had sustained head and facial injuries, with visible bleeding. Without delay, the police personnel provided first aid, carefully cleaning and bandaging the wounds to control the bleeding. While administering assistance, they inquired about his well-being and travel details. Amit informed them that he was en route to Ramnagar.
After ensuring his condition was stable, the police personnel arranged for his safe travel and sent him along with his friend to continue their journey. Their swift response and compassionate approach were deeply appreciated by Amit and his companion, who expressed gratitude for the timely help and humanitarian efforts of the police.
