The police personal of Diglipur Police Station once again have shown their mettle that, they are going tough against drug peddlers. Keeping sharp vigil over the anti-social activities under the jurisdiction. On 6.1.2023, on a receipt of reliable information that a lady is in possession of illicit ganja, raiding team headed by Inspector Mr. Vikash Singh, SHO of Diglipur Police Station trapped the lady namely Pratima Mondal W/o Mr. Inderjit Mondal R/o Madhupur at Subashgram, Diglipur and recovered 513 grams of illicit ganja from her possession. A case under appropriate section of NDPS Act was registered. The dedication and hard work of the raiding team of Diglipur Police Station resulted in the seizure of illicit ganja. The entire trap was conducted under the supervision of Mr. Lakshya Pandey, DANIPS, SDPO Diglipur, and overall direction and supervision of Ms. Geetanjali Khandelwal, IPS Superintendent of Police North & Middle Andaman District Mayabunder.
