North & Middle Andaman: The North & Middle Andaman district police were sanitizing the bootlegging and it’s syndicates. And working hard against eradicating the trade of illegal sale of illicit liquor from the society, in this regard the team of PS Billiground had taken decisive action against illicit liquor production in Badamnallah jungles, resulting destruction of around 400 liters of lehan and seizure of 40 liters of illicit liquor.
The strategic operation was led by ASI Muchary Munda, HC Bawali, PCs M. Mohd. Mustafa and Anirudra Das. The action undertaken was part of the ongoing efforts of district police to curb the illegal production and distribution of country made liquor which is a contributing factor to social issues and public safety hazards. The North & Middle Andaman District Police recognizing the gravity of the situation has intensified its efforts to dismantle the networks involved in the production and distribution of illicit liquor.
The entire operation was conducted under the vigilant supervision of Mr. Vishesh Dhatterwal, DANIPS, SDPO Rangat, and the overall direction and supervision of Ms. Geetanjali Khandelwal, IPS, Superintendent of Police, N&M Andaman District.
