In commemoration of the upcoming World Environment Day on June 5th, the A&N police force stationed at Chatham Police Station, Billiground Police Station, and Baratang Police Station collaborated with various stakeholders including PRI, Boat Owners Association, and International Human Rights & Crime Control Council NGO to orchestrate a comprehensive and impactful initiative. Together, they organized and actively participated in a widespread cleanliness drive, spanning multiple locations within the jurisdiction of their respective police stations.
During this collective endeavor, the dedicated group of individuals worked tirelessly to clean and restore the beauty of the environment. Armed with their passion for environmental conservation, they not only cleared litter and waste but also made sincere efforts to enhance the cleanliness and overall ecological health of the targeted areas.
Furthermore, recognizing the significance of reforestation in sustaining a healthy ecosystem, the participants undertook the noble task of planting saplings. By introducing new green life into the surroundings, they aimed to create a positive impact on the local environment and foster a greener, more sustainable future.
