Andaman: The district Police of North and Middle Andaman have been conducting intensive jungle search and combing operations to crackdown on manufacturing of illicit Liquor. Adding to the spree of crackdown on illicit liquor manufacturing in the district, Police team headed by SI Mr. Sushanto Debnat, I/c OP Betapur and ASI Mr. Muchray Munda along with Police/IRBn officials conducted jungle search at Gobindapur and Prafullo Nagar area. During jungle search the team recovered bhatti articles in different locations and destroyed more than 800 litres of Lahan and bhatti articles on the spot. The recovery have been done mainly from forest areas of Gobindopur and Prafullo Nagar area in Billiground Police Station.
