Hyderabad: DGP Mr. Gautam Sawang IPS was the Chief Guest in the launch of the first of its kind “Artificial Intelligence for Smart Policing Certificate Program”. The 3 days certificate program was jointly organized by the Center for Human Security Studies and NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad to equip Police about the use of Artificial Intelligence.
The DGP appreciated the initiative taken up by CHSS and NALSAR and said Artificial Intelligence is helpful first in enforcing the law in a preventive and pre-emptive manner, predicate upon decision making at different levels in culling out patterns and understanding MO Criminals and preparing police to the emergent situations.
