The first step towards change is awareness. The Hon’ble Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy, Hon’ble Home Minister, and DGP Mr.Gautam Sawang IPS participated in the awareness program on DishaApp today at 11 AM at Grama Sachivalayam, Vijayawada.
To use the DishaApp shake your phone or press the SOS button and the police will be there for your assistance. This has been made for the entire population of Andhra Pradesh. Now you can set your safety and security like never before. You can ensure that every family member, brothers, sisters, mother, fathers download the mobile application. When you have to visit a police station or wait for the phone line to connect you and in the time of dire need you can use the DishaApp for immediate assistance.
The Andhra Pradesh Police presents the multi-presented, security-oriented Disha SOS Mobile application. This application is different from other application that already exists. They got you covered in the thick of time when the threat is looming large, all that the victims need to do is just shake their mobile 5 times or press the SOS button on the DishaApp. The call will be redirected to the control room where your location will be identified and the details will be forwarded to the nearest police station and the police patrol vehicle will reach your location within minutes. 10seconds of audio and video will be recorded automatically resulting in the assaulter getting caught with evidence.
While traveling on an unknown route use the Track my travel on the DishaApp and travel in peace. If you are stuck in a remote location and feel unsafe you can use the Safety Places feature on the DishaApp and you can locate the nearest places like police stations, hospitals, etc. with CCTV surveillance. Traveling with a pregnant woman, or someone suffering from a chronic illness, you might require dialysis centers, blood banks, and hospitals.
The road safety feature of the Disha SOS App gives you all the details of the facilities within 5Km to 50 Km of the radius. This App also makes the Andhra Pradesh Police easily accessible to the citizens. Use the nearest police station feature to give all the contact details to report the issue to the police. The Disha SOS family in the state consists of 16 lakh users and is still marching strong.
