Chennai: On 29.05.2021, a 26-year-old woman from Anna Nagar, Chennai, lodged a complaint in W-7 Anna Nagar All Women Police Station stating that in 2014 she joined martial arts class in Hi-Impact Martial Art School run by one Kebiraj, a former PSBB school teacher, at 12th main road. She added in the complaint that when they were returning from Namakkal after a Judo match, Kebiraj sexually harassed her by touching her body parts and as she did not cooperate with him, he had threatened her with dire consequences if she revealed the issue and sought action in this regard. A case was registered under the provisions of IPC and Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act and an investigation is underway.
