Ramgundam: Police Commissioner Mr. S. Chandrasekhar Reddy IPS (IG) inspected the ACP office as part of the annual inspection of Ramagundam Police Commissionerate Peddapalli Zone Godavarikhani ACP. FIR abstracts index, CD files, records related to SC ST cases and other records in ACP office were examined.
The police stations under Godavarikhani sub-division asked for the details of the cases that were registered the most. Rather than reacting after the crime has occurred, strong measures should be taken to control crime in advance. Police patrolling and visible policing should be organized for crime control. It is advised to be alert for incidents that may cause law and order problem.
As a part of crime control, CC cameras should be installed in every village under the sub-division and the people should be made aware of their benefits. Strict action should be taken against illegal activities within the subdivision and legal action should be taken. They should instruct people not to interfere in land matters and resolve the issues through the courts.
