Srikakulam: Srikakulam District Superintendent of Police, Mr. K.V. Maheswara Reddy, IPS, urged the youth to avoid ruining their lives by falling into the trap of addictions such as ganja, smoking, and alcohol, and to steer clear of drug use and trafficking. On Saturday morning, the District SP served as the chief guest at the “Swachha Sankalpam” anti-drug awareness program, highlighting the harmful effects of drug abuse. The event was organized by the district police at Sri Venkateswara Engineering Educational Institution in Etcherla. The program began with the SP and other officials lighting a ceremonial torch, followed by the screening of educational short films on the dangers of drug use.
