North Tripura: Acting on a tip-off, the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Kanchanpur in North Tripura District, in coordination with officers and staff from the Kanchanpur Police Station, launched a meticulously planned anti-liquor operation in the Bakta Mohan Para area. The raid was executed with precision, resulting in the seizure of a significant cache of illegal liquor. A total of 1,284 bottles of foreign liquor, encompassing various brands and different quantities, were confiscated during the operation. The seized liquor is now under police custody, and further investigations are underway to identify and apprehend those involved in the illegal trade. The success of the raid underscores the ongoing efforts of the Kanchanpur Police to curb illicit activities in the region and ensure compliance with the law.
