Anantapur: The Anantapur Police serve with pride and care for the safety of the public. In a condition where there was heavy rainfall and many colonies became flooded and the safety of the people stranded in the floods became a major question the Anantapur Police moved into quick action.
In Anantapur the colonies under 3rd and 4th town Police Station limits were flooded. City Police and Special Party Police rushed to inundated colonies and rescued old people, children and women who are stranded in helpless condition with water blockade in their houses.
Mr. K.V. Rajendranath Reddy IPS appreciated Anantapur Police for their efforts of using ropes even in the drowning streams for saving the lives of the people in flooded colonies.
