Srikakulam: In connection with the temple theft cases registered at Etcherla Police Station, special teams formed by the police have arrested five individuals involved in multiple temple robberies across the Srikakulam district. The police recovered 692 grams of gold ornaments, 52.88 kilograms of silver ornaments, approximately Rs.3 lakh in cash, and four two-wheelers. The total value of the recovered property is estimated at Rs.91.38 lakh. DGP Ch. Dwaraka Tirumala Rao, IPS, commended the Srikakulam District Police for apprehending the accused.
