Thoothukudi: In accordance with the directive from District Superintendent of Police Dr. L. Balaji Saravanan, a comprehensive examination was conducted by the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board in 2022 to fill vacancies for the positions of Second Level Constable, Second Level Jailer, and Firefighter. The successful candidates were recently granted their appointment orders during a ceremony held at the District Police Office in Tuticorin on May 26, 2023.
Taking charge of the proceedings, Additional Superintendent of Police Mr. Karthikeyan, who was entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing Tuticorin, personally handed out the appointment letters to the newly appointed individuals. He extended his warm congratulations to them and provided them with valuable instructions and guidance to excel in their respective roles.
The appointed individuals, who will be serving as Constables, are required to undergo comprehensive training to equip themselves with the necessary skills and knowledge. The training program for these selected candidates is scheduled to commence on June 1, 2023. The Constable Training School, located in the districts of Salem, Trichy, and Vellore, has been designated as the training facility for this purpose.
During the appointment ceremony, several distinguished guests were present to witness and celebrate this significant occasion. Among them were Mr. Kumar, the Administrative Officer of the District Police Office, Mr. Subramanian, the Office Superintendent, as well as ministerial assistants who actively contribute to the smooth functioning of the office.
