Gopalapuram: On 24.8.2022 at 8:45 am Gopalapuram Police on credible information apprehended 3 three persons namely Srirama Saikumar(21) of RR District, Kunchap Sunil(26) of Warangal and Gangadhara Rahul(19) of Karimnagar District at Rathefile Bus Stand, Secunderabad who were moving under suspicious manner and on enquiry they confessed their guilt and the police recovered Gold Chain weighing about 12 grams, worth Rs.40,000/- from the possession of the accused persons.
The police seized one gold chain weighing about 12 grams pertaining to a case registered in Gopalapuram Police Station.
Accused person Srirama Saikumar and Kunchap Sunil have committed similar offences in the limits of various police stations of Hyderabad City and were remanded by Gopalapuram, Begumpet, GRP Secunderabad Police Stations.
The accused person Srirama Saikumar was earlier arrested in 2 cases registered in PS Gopalapuram, and PS Begumpet. The accused person Kunchap Sunil was earlier arrested in 2 cases: Khammam, GRP Secunderabad, and Kazipet, GRP Secunderabad.
On 30.3.2022 the police received a complaint from Mr. Gopathi Sharath S/o G Sammaiah, Age: 21 years, Occ: Student, R/o: Sri Shubam Boys Hostel, Domalguda Market Junction, Himayathnagar, N/o Hanumakonda, in which he stated that he boarded an RTC bus at Chikkadpally and he De-boarded at Rathifile Bus stop, Secunderabad and suddenly he noticed that, the gold chain weighing 12grams which he was wearing was missing. He suspects that passengers of RTC bus might have stolen his gold chain. A case was registered at Gopalapuram Police Station and was taken up for investigation.
While the efforts were in process, on 24.8.2022 at about 08:45 am the Gopalapuram crime team apprehended 3 accused persons who were moving in suspicious manner at Rathefile Bus Stop, Secunderabad and were taken into custody. On thorough interrogation, the accused persons confessed that they have committed theft of Gold Chain.
The arrest were made under the supervision of Mr. G Venkateshwarlu, Addl. DCP, North Zone, Mr. N Sudhir, ACP Gopalapuram, by Mr. B Saieashwar Goud, SHO, Mr. B Kotaiah, DI and Mr. R Pandu Raju, SI along with Crime Staff of Gopalapuram Police Station.
