Siliguri: Today evening, acting on a specific input, officers and men of the Detective Department, SPC apprehended one criminal named Danesh Muhammad (30 years) of Purba Pamli, P.O. Khuntia, Chopra Police Station, District Uttar Dinajpur, from Bhalobasha More, NJP and on search one 7.62 mm automatic pistol loaded with two rounds of live ammunition, two magazines, and one mobile phone, has been recovered and seized from his possession.
A specific case is being registered at NJP Police Station. Necessary follow-up actions are also being taken.
