Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu: The joint parade training for police personnel has been underway at the Tirunelveli City Armed Reserve Police grounds since January 19, 2026. During this training, the police personnel received instruction in physical fitness, handling weapons, riot control, VIP security, and yoga. On February 7, 2026, the final day of the joint parade training, the annual demobilization parade was held.
Subsequently, on the orders of the City Police Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Dr. Madhan, IPS, (West) accepted the parade salute led by Armed Reserve Police Inspector Daniel Kirubakaran. Following this, Tirunelveli City Police Commissioner Dr. N. Manivannan, IPS, inspected the police vehicles and police equipment. After the inspection, the Police Commissioner listened to the grievances of the police personnel and offered advice for them to perform their duties effectively.
