Rachakonda: The complainant in her complaint stated that a person is blackmailing and harassing her through Whatsapp and phone calls. Based on her complaint, a case was registered at Cyber Crime Police Station, Rachakonda. Based on the complaint the police took up the investigation, during which it is revealed that the accused C.Kabilan who used to be the neighbor of the victim and had an illegal relationship with the victim and during which he took some photos and videos of her. Later with ill intention he started blackmailing her by sending those videos through Whatsapp and demanded 2.500.000/- and further threatened that he will share those private pictures and videos with her friends and family, thus causing mental agony to the victim.
During the course of the Investigation the 10 collected all the technical evidence and after analyzing the data, on credible information, arrested the accused on 19.10.2021. produced him before the Hon’ble Court and sent to judicial custody.
The accused was identified as C Kabilan(52), Vellore, Tamil Nadu. The Police seized One MottoE3 power Mobile from the possession of the accused.
Under the direct supervision and leadership of Mr. Mahesh M Bhagwat, IPS, Commissioner of Police, and Mr. Sudheer Babu, IPS, Addl. Commissioner of Police, with the guidance of Mr. P. Yadagiri, DCP Crimes, and Mr. S. Harinath. Asst. Commissioner of Police the case investigated by Inspector Mr. M.Shankar Inspector of Cyber Crimes and apprehended the accused.
