Krishnagiri: During a routine vehicle check near Pakur Gate Division Road under Nallur Police Station in Krishnagiri District, authorities discovered gutka products valued at Rs. 95,000, foreign liquor packets valued at Rs. 630, prohibited by the Tamil Nadu government, and gutka goods from other states. The individual responsible for smuggling the liquor was apprehended, and both the gutka items and liquor, along with the vehicle, were confiscated and taken to the station. A case was filed, leading to the suspect being remanded to judicial custody and imprisoned.
