Dindigul: Acting on confidential information received by Vedasandur DSP Ms. Durga Devi regarding the hoarding and sale of marijuana in the Vedasandur area of Dindigul district, Inspector Balamurugan, along with a sub-inspector and DSP personnel, conducted active patrols. During their operation in the Tattarpatti area, they apprehended two individuals, Sasikumar from Vedasandur and Praveen (also known as Maas) from Dindigul, who were involved in the sale. The authorities confiscated 1 1/2 kilograms of marijuana, along with a cellphone and a two-wheeler. A case has been filed, and an ongoing investigation is underway.
