Ranchi: Two individuals have been arrested by the Ranchi police for extorting two lakhs. They allegedly wrote a threatening letter on a letter pad in the name of the new gang “Mohan Chanda” and targeted people in remote areas under Bedo police station. The arrested suspects have now been remanded to judicial custody.
Furthermore, another individual, accused of murdering a girl within the jurisdiction of Bedo police station, has also been arrested. The knife used in the commission of the crime was recovered, and this suspect has also been sent to judicial custody.
