Assam: Mr. Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta, IPS DGP went to the 4th Assam Police Battalion yesterday. There, he spoke to the current players of the Assam Police and took a survey of the management. The DGP is considering in bringing all the sports candidates recruited through the recently concluded police recruitment system together and training them. He also took the examination of the women’s police band in the same cantonment. The DGP said, I’m happy to report to you that the women’s band is shaping up very well.
