Wayanad: In Wayanad, the “Shubha Yatra, Surakchita Yatra” traffic safety awareness program, translating to “Happy Journey, Safe Journey,” was organized for auto taxi drivers in the town. The initiative, facilitated by the Wayanad Janmaitri Police and inaugurated by P.M. Asai, President of Panamaram Panchayat, was chaired by Meenangadi Sub Inspector M. Vinod Kumar. The session was led by cultural activist Mr. Shajan Jose. Additionally, speeches were delivered by SI Mr. NK Damodaran, civil police officers Mr. V.M. Ratheesh and Ms. A.P. Reshma, as well as Panchayat Vice President Mr. Thomas Parakalail, and representatives from the Drivers Union such as Mr. Vijayan Panamaram, among others.
