Vijayawada City: As an integral part of the vibrant Dussehra Sharannavaratri celebrations, a revered tradition of conducting a solemn weapon pooja was observed across all police stations and divisions within the NTR district on the auspicious Maharnavami day. This ritual, deeply ingrained in the fabric of the festivities, serves to pay homage to the instruments safeguarding the community.
Consistent with this time-honored practice, on the 23rd of October, 2023, at the resplendent premises of the Vijayawada City Armed Reserve Office, the distinguished NTR District Police Commissioner, Mr. Kanti Rana Tata, I.P.S., took charge of a special and meticulously organized ceremony. This auspicious occasion was dedicated to invoking blessings upon both weaponry and vehicles that serve as the bulwark of safety and order.
The ceremony bore witness to the distinguished presence of A.R.A.D.D.C.P., Mr. Srinivasa Rao, whose commitment to upholding the law and ensuring the security of the community has been exemplary.
