Siliguri: Today afternoon acting on credible information, officers and men of the SOG, SPC conducted a raid at the rented godown of one Narayan Chandra Saha at Rabindranagar, Siliguri Police Station, and recovered a huge amount of banned firecrackers, valued at approximately Rs.1.5 Lakhs, from the said premises.
The accused Narayan Chandra Saha has been detained and taken into custody.
A specific case is being initiated at Siliguri Police Station under the relevant sections of law.
