Barmer: According to the instructions given by the Superintendent of Police Mr. Deepak Bhargav IPS for the prevention of illicit liquor in the district, under the direction of Additional Superintendent of Police Barmer Mr. Narpat Singh IPS and Deputy Superintendent of Police Vrit Barmer, Mr. Harchandram N.P. On the instructions of the in-charge DST Team, under the leadership of Mr. Ugamraj Soni Nipu Thanadhikari Police Station Kotwali Barmer, Mr. Lunaram Uni, and Mr. Devaram Had Kani, DST teams raided the shops located in Nehru Nagar.
Sawai Singh son Dolatsingh, age 26 years, 10 cartons from his possession, and Revat Singh son Jagmalsingh Rajput age 26 years 2 cartons from his possession thus different brands of a total of 12 cartons of illegal English liquor and beer have been recovered.
In connection with the above action, advance research is being done by registering separate cases under the Excise Act against the accused at police station Kotwali Barmer.
