Barnala, Punjab: In a significant success against crime, the Barnala District Police have effectively dismantled a dangerous gang involved in a series of robberies and thefts committed using illegal firearms. The gang was actively operating in the Barnala and Tapa areas, creating fear among the public.
Acting on precise intelligence and swift investigation, the police apprehended five members of the gang and recovered a cache of illegal weapons and stolen property. The recoveries include one country-made firearm (315 bore) with one live cartridge and one empty shell, one pistol (32 bore) with two live cartridges and one empty shell, two motorcycles, one sharp iron weapon, and a snatched mobile phone.
