The Assam Police received information from two separate reliable sources that cannabis was being smuggled. Based on the information the Barpeta police took up a position to nab the accused. When the accused were smuggling cannabis the alert police personal who were in the wait for the accused arrested the 4 accused and seized more than 10Kg suspected cannabis (ganja) from Borvitha outpost and Sarthebari Police Station areas.
