Bellary: Bellary police have launched a grand operation, arresting 4 gangsters and seizing cash worth Rs 41 lakh.
The Bellary Bruce police have arrested four men who escaped with an attack on a man who was taking a bribe of Rs 41 lakh from a gold shop in Bellary city on the same day.
A press release from the SP’s office said. As he was traveling to Bangalore, a jewelry store worker, Mehboob Bhasha, had come to the veterinary hospital near Chennappa Circle in the city. He immediately lodged a complaint with the police.
41 lakhs of stolen cash were seized by the police as well as Asad (25) of Bandimot, Rasool (35) of Guggarahatti, Venkatesh (34) of Kota area and Dharavesh (28) of vigilante city.
