BENGALURU: Bengaluru City Police Commissioner B Dayananda IPS and other top police officers traveled in BMTC buses on Monday to create awareness about women safety.
Home Minister Dr. G. Parameshwara held a review meeting with the city police officers and emphasized on taking measures for the safety of women, the police officers traveled in buses and created awareness.

Last week, top city police officers patrolled some areas of Bengaluru in Hoysala vehicles for a few hours. Bengaluru City Police Commissioner B Dayananda IPS and his team listened to their problems with women passengers.
He informed the passengers about the various measures taken by the city police for the safety of women and advised them to call 112 in case of emergency.
