Karnataka, Bengaluru City: At a media conference today, Bengaluru City Police Commissioner B. Dayananda shared details about a major bust involving narcotics being transported via postal services. In a joint operation by the CCB’s Anti-Narcotics Wing and customs officials, aided by the Bengaluru City Police dog squad, the team successfully intercepted 3,500 parcels. Among these, 606 parcels were found to contain prohibited drugs valued at ₹21.17 crore. The operation marks a significant success in the ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking in the city.
