Madurai: The Usilampatti Nagar Police Station in Madurai district received the Chief Minister’s Best Police Station Award for being the best in the district. This award is part of a statewide recognition by the Government of Tamil Nadu, given to police stations excelling in various aspects such as crime detection and arrests, crime prevention activities, maintaining law and order, reducing accidents, and raising awareness. The Usilampatti Nagar Police Station was chosen for its outstanding performance in these areas. Tamil Nadu Director General of Police, Mr. Shankar Jiwal IPS, presented the award to Usilampatti Nagar Police Inspector Mr. Anand, who then presented the award to the District Superintendent of Police, Mr. P. K. Aravind, and received commendations.
