Katihar, Bihar: Bihar Police have achieved a significant success by arresting Ravi Yadav, a wanted criminal carrying a reward of ₹10,000, from the limits of Kodha Police Station in Katihar district. The accused had been absconding in connection with a theft-related case.
According to police sources, Ravi Yadav was involved in a robbery/snatching incident that occurred on October 22, 2020, in Jurabganj village, carried out by members of the Kodha gang. Following sustained efforts, a special police team was constituted to trace and apprehend the absconder.
Acting on credible intelligence, the team conducted a late-night raid on December 21, 2025, successfully arresting the accused. Preliminary verification revealed that the arrested individual has a previous criminal history, highlighting the seriousness of the case.
The arrest underscores Bihar Police’s commitment to tracking down absconding offenders and ensuring public safety, while reinforcing that criminals evading the law will ultimately be brought to justice.
