Patna, Bihar, July 13: In a swift and effective response, the Bihar Police successfully solved an armed robbery case reported under Ranitalab Police Station in Patna district, arresting one of the main accused and detaining a juvenile offender.
The incident, which occurred on June 28, 2025, involved a robbery executed by threatening the victim with a pistol. Acting on intelligence and under the leadership of senior officials, the police launched a targeted raid to apprehend the suspects.
During the operation, the arrested accused attempted to flee by pushing the police personnel, prompting the team to exercise controlled and necessary force. In the process, the accused sustained a bullet injury to his leg and was immediately admitted to the hospital for medical treatment. His condition is reported to be stable.
As a result of the operation, the police recovered One country-made pistol, and Four live cartridges, believed to have been used in the robbery.
