Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, July 12: In a powerful initiative to foster awareness, responsibility, and civic consciousness among the youth, the “Samagra Chhatra Awareness Campaign” was launched with great enthusiasm and community spirit at the Swami Atmanand Multipurpose Higher Secondary School, Bilaspur. The event was held in the dignified presence of District Collector Shri Sanjay Agarwal and Senior Superintendent of Police Shri Rajnesh Singh, IPS.
A Thoughtful and Inspiring Beginning
The inauguration commenced with a traditional welcome—Tilak, Pushparsha, and stage escorting—gracefully conducted by NCC cadets and Scouts, setting a culturally respectful tone for the event.

Cultural Expressions for Social Awareness:
Students delivered powerful messages through dance, music, and street plays on critical issues such as cybercrime, women and child safety, drug prevention, and environmental protection, capturing the audience’s attention with their creativity and clarity.

SSP Rajnesh Singh (IPS) inspired students with the message, “Only an aware society can fulfill its true civic duty.”
He emphasized the role of awareness and proactive action in building a law-abiding and responsible society.

DM Sanjay Agarwal highlighted the importance of vigilance and a restrained lifestyle, urging students to become agents of change in their communities.
Legal Literacy Drive:
Representatives from the Legal Services Authority shared important information on laws related to cybercrime, women and child protection, and students’ legal rights, reinforcing the legal empowerment component of the campaign.

Experts from various departments conducted a Q&A session, patiently addressing student queries and concerns on safety, rights, and civic duties.

Master Trainer Shri Umashankar Pandey led students in taking an oath to follow traffic rules and encourage safe commuting practices.

Learning License Camp: On-the-spot learner’s licenses were issued by the Transport Department.
