Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh: In a strong action against drug trafficking, the Bilaspur Police successfully arrested Tarun Singh Argal alias Ritik, who was involved in the illegal sale of marijuana, thereby reaffirming their firm commitment to a drug-free society.
Acting on credible information, the police apprehended the accused and seized 5.590 kilograms of marijuana, valued at approximately ₹66,000, from his possession. Following due legal procedures, a case was registered against him, and he was subsequently produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody.
Senior police officials appreciated the alertness and effective action of the police team involved in the operation. The Bilaspur Police reiterated that strict and sustained action will continue against those involved in drug trafficking and narcotics-related offences, urging the public to cooperate by reporting such illegal activities to help safeguard society.
