Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, June 27: As part of the Bilaspur District Police’s ongoing commitment to community welfare and awareness, the outreach campaign “Aao Sanware Kal Apna” is now reaching even the remotest villages. In a recent initiative, the program was conducted at the Primary School in Piparkhuti village, located near Achanakmar under Kota Police Station limits.
Organized in collaboration with Jeevdharni Foundation, the event witnessed enthusiastic participation from children, parents, teachers, and villagers. Notable attendees included Vikas Verma, Mrs. Rekha Gulla, Mr. Madan Mohan Gulla, Raja Kaushik, and Akanksha Janokar.
With the inspiring message “Yes to Sports, No to Drugs and Mobiles,” the program aimed to steer children toward a healthier, more disciplined lifestyle. As part of the initiative:
- Cricket and football kits were gifted to students to encourage physical activity.
- Educational supplies such as notebooks, pens, slates, and pencils were distributed to support learning.
- Students who excelled in the previous examinations were recognized and awarded.
- Sports competitions were held, and winners received medals.
- A unique campaign titled “One Tree in the Name of Mother” was launched to raise environmental awareness, with students participating in tree planting activities.
This heartfelt effort by Bilaspur Police and community partners showcases a holistic approach to youth development—focusing on education, fitness, drug awareness, and environmental responsibility.
