Chhattisgarh, Bilaspur: The one-day workshop for gazette officers of the Bilaspur range successfully concluded, focusing on the critical subject of ‘Process and Action of Departmental Investigation.’ The training session, organized under the leadership of Inspector General (Bilaspur Range) Dr. Sanjeev Shukla, aimed to enhance the investigative skills and procedural understanding of departmental inquiries among gazetted officers handling disciplinary matters.
During the session, Dr. Sanjeev Shukla provided in-depth insights into the various stages of departmental investigations, including the initiation of inquiries, evidence collection, procedural compliance, and legal considerations. Officers were also trained on drafting investigation reports, ensuring fairness and adherence to prescribed regulations while handling disciplinary cases within their respective districts.
A total of 32 gazette officers from different districts under the Bilaspur range actively participated in the workshop. Through interactive discussions, case studies, and practical examples, the session equipped the officers with a comprehensive understanding of departmental investigation protocols. The training emphasized transparency, accountability, and adherence to legal guidelines in conducting inquiries, reinforcing the commitment to maintaining discipline and integrity within the police force.
