West Khasi Hills: A meeting was convened today at Lampi BOP between the IC of Langpih BOP from Meghalaya Police and the IC of Lampi BOP from Assam Police, aimed at enhancing coordination and cooperation for effective policing along the interstate border. Discussions encompassed various concerns including crime, militancy, the influx of criminals and troublemakers, as well as the trafficking of drugs, contraband, and explosives. Both parties agreed to hold regular meetings to facilitate intelligence sharing.
