Chandigarh: A critical breakthrough has been obtained in the Chandigarh University case with the assistance of the Indian Army, Assam Police and Arunachal Pradesh Police. The accused army personnel Sanjeev Singh has been arrested from Sela Pass, Arunachal Pradesh. The Punjab Police have obtained transit remand from LD Chief Judicial Magistrate Bomdilla for producing the accused person before Mohali court.
