Sagar: At the state-level police control room Dial-100 in Bhopal, a report was received around midnight on July 31st about a caller whose car had broken down near the village of Bhapel on the highway under the jurisdiction of Motinagar police station in Sagar district. The caller was accompanied by others. Upon receiving the information, the district’s Dial-112/100 FRV vehicle was immediately dispatched to provide assistance. Dial-100 staff members, Assistant Sub Inspector Rajendra Tiwari and pilot Irfan, arrived at the scene and found that the caller and his friends were traveling from Indore to Katni when their car’s tire got punctured in a deserted area at night. Fearing an incident and unable to find help in the remote location, they contacted Dial-112/100 for assistance. The Dial-100 staff took the caller and the car’s tire in the FRV vehicle, got the tire repaired, and then reinstalled it on the car. The caller and his friends were then able to continue to their destination. All the members expressed their gratitude to Dial-100 for the assistance provided.
