North and Middle Andaman: In a touching demonstration of unity, Rangat Police Station organized a fundraising campaign to gather funds for a bereaved family who suffered the loss of their home and their only son, Akash Mondal, on September 13, 2023, due to a fallen tree. The campaign received an overwhelming response from all police personnel, with many stepping forward to contribute to this honorable cause. Through their collective endeavors, Rangat Police Station was able to make a substantial contribution to ease the financial burdens faced by Shri Swapan Mondal, residing at Sitapur, Rangat, along with his family. Mr. Mondal is a laborer by profession. This act of kindness not only alleviates his immediate financial strain but also reaffirms the strong connection between the Police department and the community it serves.
