Rachakonda: On 21.09.2021 at 6 AM, the sleuths of CCS LB Nagar along with Vanasthalipuram Police of Rachakonda Police Commissionerate have made sincere efforts and apprehended one accused person under suspicious circumstances at Panama X roads. The accused has been identified as Gudikadi Naveen Kumar (41).
Cases have been registered against him in Vanasthalipuram Police Station, LB Nagar Police Station, Meerpet Police Station, and Saroornagar Police Station.
In this offense, the accused Gudikadi Naveen Kumar is doing as RMP Doctor at Laxmi Devunipally, Palvancha, Khammam. As his earnings are not sufficient to meet his lavish expenses, he hatched a plan. to commit theft in running buses. As per his plan, he travels in Buses during night times from different places to Hyderabad. On the way, he observes the passengers who carry Laptop Bags. While the bus reaching the outskirts of Hyderabad, he steels the targeted Bag and gets down from the bus, and flees away from the spot. If he fails to commit theft of Laptops in Bus, he used to get down from buses in early hours at Dilsukhnagar, LB Nagar, Vanasthalipuram surrounding areas and moves nearby colonies and commits theft of Laptops from Bachelors rooms who keep their room doors open.
On 08.08.2021 the complainant and his friend have boarded on RTC Bus at Narsaraopeta to travel. Nizampet, Hyderabad, and they kept their bags in the bus, which contains HP Laptop and Dell Laptop issued by their companies, and also kept their cell phones in the same bag and slept in the bus. Meanwhile, they were boarding on Bus with Laptops, the accused observed and he also boarded on Bus without reservation to hide his details. The accused paid fares and sat in Bus and keep on observing the complainant. When the Bus reached Auto Nagar, the accused got down from the bus with laptop bags and fled away. On the next day 09-08-2021 at 0500 hours, while the complainant and his friends were trying to get down from the bus, noticed that their bags were missing.
The Police seized Six HP Laptops, Four Dell Laptops, Three Lenovo Laptops, One Sony Laptop, One Toshiba Laptop, One Acer Laptop, Five Mobile Phones, One Wristwatch, and Two Power Bank all worth Rs.5,00,000/-.
The arrest was made under the direct supervision of Mr. Mahesh M Bhagwat, IPS, Commissioner of Police, and Mr. G Sudheer Babu, IPS Addl. Commissioner of Police Rachakonda, with the guidance of Mr. Sunpreet Singh IPS, DCP LB. Nagar Zone & Mr. P. Yadagiri, DCP Crimes and under the supervision of Mr. R. Shekar Reddy, ACP Crimes, CCS LB Nagar, Mr. Purushotham Reddy, ACP Vansathalipuram, Inspectors Mr. T. Mahesh, Mr. K Satyanarayana, Mr. G Jagannadh, Mr. G. Eroji.
