New Delhi: Union Home Ministry on Thursday announced the ‘Kendriya Griha Mantri Dakshata Padak’ awards given annually on the occasion of iron man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birth anniversary.
These awards will be presented to the police personnel who have shown extraordinary talent in the fields of special operations, investigation, forensic science etc. These awards were announced to 463 police personnel across the country. It includes people from Telugu states. Andhra Pradesh, Telangana including Assam, Bihar, Arunachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and other states, Delhi, Jammu Kashmir, Chandigarh and other Union Territories Police, CRPF, CBI, NIA, NCP, ITBP etc. These awards were announced to the staff. Two SPs from Andhra Pradesh, one SP from Telangana and many police constables from Telugu states got these awards.
