Ranipet: In response to crime cases registered within the Kalavai police station limits in Ranipet district, the police, led by Kalavai Circle Inspector Mrs. Kavitha, arrested three criminals responsible for the theft of gold jewelry and silver articles on 17.08.2024. A total of 28 sovereigns of gold jewelry and 1.25 kg of silver were recovered from the accused. The stolen items were seized, and the suspects were remanded to judicial custody. On 20.09.2024, District Superintendent of Police, Mrs. D.V. Kiran Shruthi, I.P.S., commended the police inspectors and officers involved in the operation by awarding them certificates of appreciation.
